Seven new COVID19 deaths in Indiana; 338 new cases

The Indiana State Department of Health is reporting that 338 additional Hoosiers have tested positive for COVID-19, for a total of 981 in the state, while seven more have died.

To date, 24 Hoosiers have succumbed to the virus.

As of this morning, 6,936 COVID-19 tests have been conducted, up from 4,651 on Thursday. Testing is being done by the State Department of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and private laboratories.

Marion County had the most new cases, at 192. Lake County had 16 new cases, while Allen, Decatur, and Hamilton counties each added 13. The compete list of cases by county is accessible at the COVID-19 dashboard at www.coronavirus.in.gov

The dashboard has been updated to include the age ranges of patients, as well as gender breakdowns.
