Scouts BSA Troop 9929 formed in Chesterton for girls

The Chesterton United Methodist Men are proud to announce the formation of a Girls Scouting BSA Unit at the Chesterton First United Methodist Church. The Chesterton United Methodist Men are the chartering organization for Cub Pack 929 and Troop 929.

The Boy Scouts of America has reorganized under Scouts BSA and is offering co-ed programs for both boys and girls. Many girls who want to learn outdoor skills and grow through the leadership opportunities offered by Scouts BSA have joined. Scouts BSA has become a family organization.

Youngsters 11 to 17 years old and interested in joining Scouting, Troop 9929 and Troop 929 meet every Tuesday at 7:00 p.m., at the Chesterton First United Methodist Church, located at 2nd St. and Porter Ave.
