Porter Health Care System invites community members to officially bid farewell to the Valparaiso Hospital Campus before closing its doors to relocate to the new Porter Regional Hospital on August 25.

Community members may sign their name or write a special message on a dedicated Farewell Wall in the hospital’s administrative hallway at 814 LaPorte Avenue in Valparaiso from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. now through August 18.

“Porter Valparaiso Hospital Campus has served us well for 73 years, and now it’s time for us to bid it farewell and share our gratitude,” said Porter CEO Jonathan Nalli. “The Farewell Wall lets everyone personally acknowledge and pay tribute to the seven decades of caring and service at Valparaiso Hospital Campus in their own way and using their own words. To date, many associates have written some truly endearing sentiments. We at Porter know that its legacy will certainly live on at the new Porter Regional Hospital.”
