The Chesterton Adult Learning Center will be taking names for its next student registration starting this Friday, Sept. 21 at 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Registration will continue on Tuesday, Sept. 25 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Friday, Sept. 28 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The registration fee is $20.

Seats are limited and must be reserved. Call 921-0567 for more information or to reserve a seat.

Daytime and evening classes are available. School hours for daytime classes are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and for evening classes, Monday and Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Chesterton Adult Learning Center is committed to helping adults in the Duneland area get their GEDs, prepare for college, and/or study English as a second language.

The center is always looking for volunteers to build relationships with students and give students the one-on-one help they need to achieve their goals. If you are interested in volunteering to make a difference in students’ lives, call 921-0567 to see how you can make that difference.
