Now’s the time to register for Youth Basketball, Gymnastics and Music In Motion! Kids have so much fun learning new activities and the Y is just the place for them. The Y Youth Sports Program helps kids learn sportsmanship and athletic skills in a safe, friendly environment with lots of support and supervision.

Don't miss this opportunity to participate in Youth Basketball. It's an exciting sport combining team play and individual skills. Emphasis will be placed on skill development and learning the rules of the game. YMCA Youth Basketball promises no tryouts, no getting cut and no bench warmers! Every child plays at least half of every game while making friends and learning new techniques. Registration is open to children ages 3 through 5th grade now through Feb. 27. The season begins March 6 and ends April 22. Ages 3-4 will practice and play on Saturday mornings in our preschool division. All other age divisions will have one practice a week and games on Saturdays. The cost per child is $40 for Y members and $80 for non-members.

Through age appropriate activities, children in the Gymnastics program learn gymnastic and tumbling skills while having fun. Benefits include strength development, flexibility, balance, coordination, increased self-confidence and concentration. Tiny Tykes registration is open to children from 18 months to 3 years old and their "fun loving" adult. Tumble Tots introduces children from age 3 to 5 years old more rigorous tumbling skills. Progressive School Age Tumbling, for kids ages 6-12, rounds out the developmental skills needed to give participants a sound foundation. Registration for tumbling is open now through March 6 when classes start. The program cost varies by age.

Music In Motion is a new program for kids age 0 to 5 and their caregiver to encourage learning through songs, dance, instruments and body movement. This six week fun, active class teaches learning concepts for our little ones in a fast-paced environment. Come jam and make new friends. Cost for per child is $30 for Y members and $60 for non-members.
