Register for Moose Road Rally for Special Olympics

DJAJ and the Moose Lodge 1623 present the third annual “Road Rally” benefiting the athletes of Porter County Special Olympics Aug. 17. Bring your family, friends, and favorite car, motorcycle, or other vehicle to join the 2019 Road Rally, which will begin and end at the Chesterton Moose Lodge 1623 and wander the Duneland countryside for about 85 miles, with stops in Chesterton, Malden, Union Mills, Westville, and Michigan City.

After the ride, a dinner will be held at the Chesterton Moose Lodge where there will be silent auctions, 50/50, basket raffles, door prizes, and entertainment by DJAJ.

Tickets are available on Eventbrite and at the door the day of. Rally fees are $20 per motorcycle or car with driver and $10 for each passenger. Rally fees include dinner and entertainment. Can’t make the rally? Come just for dinner and the fun for $10.

There will be registration and a light breakfast from 10 to 11 a.m. The first vehicle out is at 11 a.m. Last vehicle in is at 5 p.m. Entertainment begins at 5 p.m. and dinner is at 5:30 p.m.

Porter County has well over 300 athletes who benefit from participating in Special Olympics. Supporting these Porter County athletes with uniforms, transportation, equipment, field/gym rental takes tens of thousands of dollars per year.

100 percent of Road Rally proceeds go to Porter County Special Olympics athletes. The first two Road Rallies raised over $13,000.
