Rebuilding Together Duneland homeowner deadline January 15

Rebuilding Together Duneland (RTD) is currently accepting homeowner applications for the Saturday, April 27, 2019, work day. Deadline for applications is Tuesday, January 15.

With the support of volunteers and donors, the RTD mission is to help Duneland homeowners with free necessary repairs to their homes, enabling them to maintain a safe, healthy and independent life. Together, community volunteers apply paint and stain, fix and replace doors, install new water heaters and furnaces, and handicap ramps. Volunteers clear yards of debris, spread mulch, and plant flowers and shrubs. RTD also takes care of plumbing issues as well as repairs and/or replacement of roofs and windows.

The RTD has been helping people in the Duneland community for 21 years now. If you, a relative, neighbor or friend live in the Duneland School District and could use help, please contact RTD now!

RTD volunteers are available to assist with the application process. Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis and are easily available online at www.rtduneland.org, at the Duneland Chamber of Commerce, Hopkins ACE Hardware, Westchester Public Library, the Duneland Resale Shop and the Duneland YMCA.
