The Best Buddies Pet Pantry will hold a collection on Saturday, June 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Chesterton Kmart on Indian Boundary Road.

The pet pantry will be collecting donations of cat and dog food and supplies.

The pantry’s next distribution is set for Saturday, June 18 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Duneland Family YMCA in Chesterton. The pet pantry assists low-income individuals and families with pet food and other pet expenses, in the hopes of helping the struggling families to keep their pets instead of taking them to animal shelters.
