The Family 4th Festival Committee is looking for parade entrants.

Businesses, school groups, community organizations and others are invited to join the fun. Floats, walking entries, and bands are all welcome. The parade will be on July 4 at 9 a.m.

The parade lines up at Yost Elementary and makes its way through downtown Porter ending at Hawthorne Park, where a day-long festival is planned. Applications are available at Porter Town Hall or by contacting the Duneland Business Initiative Group by email at dunebig@gmail.com or by calling 926-6283. The deadline for applications is June 27.
