Correction on Family 4th Fest Parade grand marshal

A story on the front page of Tuesday’s Chesterton Tribune--announcing the grand marshal of this year’s Family 4th Fest Parade--contained a regrettable error.

The Duneland Business Initiative Group (DBIG), in making the announcement, used last year’s press release template and did not omit the name of the 2017 grand marshal, the late Lewis T. Craig Sr.

DBIG regrets the error, as does the Chesterton Tribune for failing to correct it.

Also, July 4th is Wednesday, not Tuesday. We regret that error, too.
