This gathering will be a celebration which includes the singing of traditional Easter hymns as well as contemporary songs and a homily given by Pastor Liz Lahaie from Porter United Methodist Church.

Holy Communion will be offered to those who wish to partake. In the past, the weather has been chilly, so please dress accordingly.

In addition, there is no seating available in or around the gazebo, so folding chairs are encouraged for those who do not wish to stand during the service. As a courtesy to the Porter Park Department, do not park on the lawn.

Immediately following the service, everyone is invited to return to the fellowship hall of Porter UMC, 100 E. Beam Street & Wagner Road, for a community breakfast. The PUMC congregation hopes everyone will be able to share in this celebration of the resurrection of Christ.
