There have been no additional deaths
in the county from COVID-19 over the last 24 hours, the Porter County
Health Department reported after deadline today.

The number of reported cases now
totals 120, up from a 117 on Monday, a nominal increase of 2.5 percent.
Current hospitalizations dropped to
10, from 11 on Monday. But recoveries jumped to 48, up from 28 on Monday,
an increase of 71 percent.
Duneland cases by township:
--Westchester: 12 cases, one
hospitalization, five recoveries (11, one, and three on Monday).
--Liberty: eight cases, two
hospitalizations, four recoveries (eight, two, and three).
--Jackson: one case, no
hospitalizations, no recoveries (one, none, and none).
--Pine: no cases yet reported.
Portage Township--with 54 cases,
four hospitalizations, and 20 recoveries (54, five, and 10 on
Monday)--remains the hardest hit in the county; followed by Center, with
23 cases, two hospitalizations, and eight recoveries (22, two, and five);
then Westchester; then Union, with seven cases, no hospitalizations, and
six recoveries (seven, none and five).
The demographic with the most cases
remains the 50-59 age group; followed by 40-49; 30-39; 60-69; 70-79;
20-29; 80-89; 90+; and 0-19.
