The Porter County
Health Department was reporting this morning another death from COVID-19 as
well as 25 additional confirmed cases.
The death is the
13th in the county to date. The victim was a Westchester Township resident
aged 70-79. This death marks the fifth Dunelander to die of COVID-19. Three
other Westchester Township residents have died: two 80-89, and one 70-79.
And a Liberty Township resident 80-89 has died as well.
has seen seven of its residents die from COVID-19: three 50-59, one 70-79;
one 80-89; and two 90-and-over.
One victim was a
Center Township resident 70-79.
Eight of the
victims were men. Five were women. Deaths by demographic: four in the 50-59;
three in the 70-79; four in the 80-89; and two in the 90-and-over.
