The Duneland Chamber of Commerce invites the public to attend a free informational meeting on Aug. 20 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. in partnership with Anderson Insurance and Keystone Benefits who will address questions surrounding the new Affordable Care Act.

The event will be held at Third Coast Spice Cafe in Chesterton, 761 Indian Boundary Road. An RSVP is requested by calling (219)-926-5513. Community members are welcome.

“We have very valuable information and would like to share it with business owners and decision makers,” says Ben Zimmer of Anderson Insurance. “We’ll be partnering with Keystone Benefits to share significant information about how the new health care reform act will affect the local business community. Attendance is strongly encouraged for business owners that have questions about this new legislation, including: Affordable Care Act employer requirements; penalties for non-compliance; and the value of employee benefits.”

Those who are interested in attending the free Navigating the Affordable Care Act and Employee Benefits informational session should call the Duneland Chamber of Commerce office at (219) 926-5513, or visit www.dunelandchamber.org
