Rebuilding Together Duneland (RTD) is accepting homeowner applications for the Saturday, April 25, 2020, work day through Wednesday, Jan. 15.

With the support of volunteers and donors, RTD’s mission is to help Duneland homeowners with free necessary repairs to their homes, enabling them to maintain a safe, healthy, and independent life.

Together volunteers apply paint and stain, fix and replace doors, install new water heaters, furnaces, and handicap ramps. Volunteers also clear yards of debris, spread mulch, and plant flowers and shrubs. RTD also takes care of plumbing issues as well as repairs and/or replaces roofs and windows.

RTD has been helping people in the Duneland community for over 20 years. If you, a relative, neighbor, or friend live in the Duneland Schools district and could use RTD help, please let us know. RTD is available to assist with the application process.

Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis and are easily available online at www.rtduneland.org or at the Duneland Chamber of Commerce, Hopkins Ace Hardware, Westchester Public Library, Duneland Resale Shop and the Duneland YMCA.
