The Porter County
Fair returns in 2018 from July 19 through July 28. This year will feature
all the classics: carnival rides on the midway, Elephant Ears, action packed
grandstand events, and much more.
Visitors wonít want
to miss out on all the free fun for all ages around the fair such as
musicians, acrobatic K-9s, and performers of all kinds. New this year is the
Birthing Barn presented by 1st Source Bank showcasing the miracle of a live
animal birth. Patrons with special needs and their chaperones are invited to
ride select rides free from 1 to 6 p.m., on Monday, July 23.
Senior Citizen and
Veteranís Appreciation Day will be held Wednesday, July 25.
Admissions gates start charging admission at 12 p.m. 4-H events begin daily
between 8 and 8:30 a.m.
Food vendors begin
preparing food around 11 a.m. Carnival rides begin at 1 p.m.
On weekdays, the
fair closes around 11 p.m. On weekends, around 12 a.m.
Adults--$7.00 per person, Children under 10--Free. 10 punch Value pass for
Admission is free
before 12:00 p.m. every day of the fair.
entertainment will include Brett Young, featuring Ashley McBryde, on
Thursday, July 19; Casting Crowns, with Zach Williams, July 21. Brooks &
Dunn, July 22; Bull Riding, July 23; Mud Drags, July 24; Tractor/Truck Pull,
July 25; Tuff Truck Competition, July 26; Bus Demolition; July 27; and
Demolition Derby, July 28.
