92 COVID19 cases in Porter County

As of 9:30 a.m. today, 92 positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported to the Porter County Health Department, up from 88 on Thursday, an increase of 5 percent

Twelve patients are currently hospitalized and 28 patients have recovered (12 and 28 on Thursday).

No deaths have yet been reported in Porter County.

Duneland cases by township:

-- Westchester: 10 cases, one hospitalization, three recoveries (10, one, and three on Thursday).

-- Liberty: Six cases, two hospitalization, three recoveries (five, two, and three on Thursday).

-- Jackson: no cases.

-- Pine: no cases.

Portage Township--with 45 cases, five hospitalizations, and 10 recoveries (38, six, and 10 on Thursday)--remains the hardest hit in Porter County, followed by Center, with 16 cases, two hospitalizations, and five recoveries (16, two, and five on Thursday); then Westchester; then Union, with seven cases, no hospitalizations, and five recoveries (seven, zero, and five on Thursday).

The demographic with the most cases remains the 50-59 age group, with more than 20; followed by 40-49; 30-39; and 60-69.

Of the 92 cases, 49 are female and 43 are male.
