In just thirty days
Porter’s Hawthorne Park will be filled with the familiar sound of clinking
glasses and conversations about barley, hops, and wheat at the 6th annual
Porter’s Perfect Pint Festival.
This year’s “Pint”
will be held on Saturday, October 1, from Noon to 5:00 p.m. VIP Entrance is
at Noon, General Admission begins at 1:00 p.m., rain or shine, under the big

cider centric event was started in 2011 by Porter business owners Liz
Tilden, of Pat’s Liquors), and Leroy Flores, of Leroy’s Hot Stuff, as a fall
festival to benefit the Town of Porter Park Department and Volunteer Fire
Department.
In addition to
sampling the best that over 50 different brewers have to offer, attendees
can take part in a silent auction and multiple drawings throughout the
afternoon featuring a variety of prizes including themed gift baskets, golf
passes, jewelry, and gift certificates to area businesses.
All proceeds from
the auction are split between the Porter Park Department and Porter
Volunteer Fire Department for use in programming, training, equipment
purchase, and other community needs.

glass is $55.
