The Chesterton Art Center is hosting a "12 x 12" Exhibit, featuring members'
work that is 12" x 12" or less.
The opening reception for the exhibit is Wednesday, December 12, from 5-7
p.m.
Each Chesterton Art Center member is allowed to submit up to three art
pieces.
Mark Montgomery is a glass artist who has created a series of glass
sundials. "Working within new constraints makes me alter my normal approach
to my art. This different viewpoint pushes my art in new directions. I find
the smaller format a refreshing challenge,” he said of working within the 12
x 12 format. To see Mark's work along with many other small, interesting
works, stop by the Chesterton Art Center at 115 S. 4th St., Chesterton.
