Contests: Best Dressed Dog; Owner-Dog Look Alike; Best Trick; and Best Human
Barkers (adults and kids). No registration is necessary and contests are
free to enter.
Contest prizes are
provided by Chesterton Feed and Garden and the Duneland Business Initiative
group. Contests start at 12 p.m. by the Bandstand.
Both K-9s and kids
will have a blast splashing and looking for the lucky duck in the Duck Hunt
game where every player wins a prize.
And you’ve got to
stop by the PawCasso booth where your pooch can paint a masterpiece just for
pet-friendly day in the park as you visit booths featuring local shelters,
regional pet rescue organizations, specialized pet services in the area, and
pet merchandise and treats.
