CHS Trojan Guard reunion scheduled for July 5

Once in the Guard, Always in the Guard: That’s the theme for the Chesterton High School Trojan Guard reunion set for Saturday, July 5, at the Chesterton American Legion Post 170, 78 Wabash Ave.

All former and current Guard members and their families are invited to attend.

The event, which will take place from 12 to 6 p.m. on July 5, will celebrate 40 years of Trojan Guard memories. Those attending are encouraged to bring photos, videos and memorabilia of their time in the band.

Family and friends of former Trojan Guard members who have moved from the area are asked to forward information about the reunion. A “Trojan Guard Reunion 2014” page has been set up on Facebook, where photos and memories are being shared.

The Facebook page also contains information about the commemorative T-shirts which can be ordered for the reunion and to help support the Trojan Guard’s trip to Florida in December. A link to order shirts appears on the Facebook page or you can order Reunion T-shirts here:

If unable to attend the reunion or want a shirt before the reunion, choose the shipping option.
