Two Valparaiso have been charged with tax offenses in federal court, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Indiana said.

Robert Timothy Wilson, 55, and Shelly Wilson, 53, are charged with conspiracy to commit tax evasion, tax evasion, and failure to file tax returns, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.

“According to court documents, between on or about January 2008 and continuing through on or about April 2015, the Wilsons, owners and officers of Anchor Health Systems Inc., conspired to evade paying taxes,” the U.S. Attorney’s Office said. “They also failed to file some required tax returns.”

The case was investigated by the Internal Revenue Service-Criminal Investigations.
