new owners purchased the bar in March and re-opened in early April under the

purchase is exceptionally exciting for owner, Kensey Alsman, who had been
looking into purchasing a tavern for about a year. “I used to come to this
place when it was Saturday’s Child in the 60’s to see Ron Buffington play.”
Alsman recalled. “It really worked out perfectly. This was the place I
really wanted to own. It’s a neighborhood bar.” Ron Buffington is one of the
musicians playing the Grand Opening event.
Weather permitting; the entertainment will be outside on the patio. Double
Tap Live, featuring Steve Villigran and Jay Alsman, will play from 3 to 6
p.m. Gerry Hundt will be playing from 6-8 p.m., followed by Ron Buffington
until 9 p.m. The day’s entertainment will close out with Nickel Dime,
featuring Mandalyn Bensen and Norm Daisy.
