Ground broken at Coffee Creek Center: Heavy earth-movers begin excavation on Tuesday for the 94-unit Village Green Townhomes on 15 acres at the southeast corner of C.R. 1050N and Kelle Drive. Motorists southbound on Kelle Drive from C.R. 1050N will see the work site to their left just before making the sharp right turn onto Village Point. The townhomes, to be built on a rise overlooking the amphitheater and pond in the Coffee Creek Watershed Preserve, will give an entirely new profile to the north portion of Coffee Creek Center.     (Tribune photos by Margaret Willis)
